FCAN Conference 2025
The 2025 FCAN conference in Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast was a great success and we think it was our best ever. All the feedback received to date from delegates, presenters, stakeholders and sponsoring partners has been very positive.
The 2025 conference was held over 2 days on 3-4 September 2025 with an additional training day on 5 September.
Once again, the conference program was packed with a comprehensive and informative panels, presentation and sessions. Thanks to The Glen for bringing along the Glen Dancers and to Aunty Robyn for opening the Conference. The annual conference dinner this year was appropriately themed ‘beach party’ and it was enthusiastically embraced by all.
The conference training day on the 5 September was well attended also.
We thank all the FCAN members, sponsors and speakers for making it a very memorable event.
2026 Conference – 9&10 September Sydney
Next year the conference will be at Sydney Dockside Darling Harbour on 9 and 10 September 2026. All the details will be in the FCAN quarterly subscriber e-news or in the FCAN member only weekly e-news.

FCAN Conferences
Each year we host a conference alternating between regional and metro areas.
Our annual conferences bring everyone together to highlight issues affecting clients and provide our members with cost effective up to date professional development and self care. The conferences are part of our professional development suite of programs that FCAN coordinates for all NSW members throughout the year.
We invite supporters and sponsors from industry, government and regulators to partner with us and attend our conference.
PAST CONFERENCES
FCAN 2025 Conference
Held at Terrigal Crown Plaza Pacific on 3 and 4 September 2025 followed by a training day on 5 September. The 2025 conference was attended by over 350 members, sponsors, presenters and stakeholders.
We thank everyone for attending and making the conference a memorable experience for all.
FCAN 2024 Conference
Held at Novotel Sydney Olympic Park on 11 and 12 September 2024 followed by a training day on 13 September. The 2024 conference was attended by over 350 members, sponsors, partners, presenters and stakeholders.
FCAN 2023 Conference
Held in the historic Blue Mountains at the Fairmont Resort, members and stakeholders enjoyed 2 days of networking, sightseeing, socialising and presentations. The conference was opened by local State MP Trish Doyle and there were over 300 delegates in attendance.
The conference was made memorable by an 8 hour blackout that meant the conference dinner was powered by a generator and a lot of candles. The dinner theme was 1920s so the candlelight enhanced the atmosphere.
FCAN 2022 Conference
That’s a wrap! The 2022 FCAN conference “In the spotlight” was held at the Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach on 14 -16 September 2022. Delegates, sponsors, speakers and industry stakeholders networked face to face for the first time in 3 years.
FCAN 2021 Conference
FCAN held the first ever virtual financial counselling conference for members and sponsors in December 2021. Attended virtually by 250 delegates, the conference was a great way to connect the sector during COVID restrictions.
FCAN 2020 Conference – cancelled due to COVID
FCAN 2019 Conference – held in Tamworth – the home of the famous Golden Guitar and country and western and boot scooting capital of Australia. This was a 4-day conference that also included a “Bring your bills” day for townspeople and farmers affected by the drought.
